We will create unique prints using carved foam stamps on hand dyed water color paper. Each participant will dye their own paper with psychedelic colored dyes, then stamp on top of the paper using black ink and foam stamps.
Learn how to print with the magic of natural dyes from plants and flowers. Experiment with different leaves and petals to create your own combination of floral beauty! Students will print on fine cotton papers and natural fabrics to create a 12"x12" handkerchief, two yards of silk ribbon, and three 5"x7" art prints. All of which you get to take home and enjoy for years to come.
The majority of the class will take place outside, so LEAF your high heels at home :)
